Created by Wild Onion Labs and developed through real-world use with a competitive youth swim program, BasenGrid Teams replaces fragmented information and repetitive coordination with simple, dependable tools.

A centralized, continuously maintained team calendar with practice times, locations, and group assignments.
Parents can filter schedules for their swimmers and subscribe through familiar calendar applications, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook.
Published updates flow through the central calendar and subscription feeds, reducing the need to recreate events manually.
Team announcements and important updates delivered through an organized, permission-conscious email system.
Easy-to-read weekly carpool schedules that families can view, save, and add to their calendars.
Mobile-first accessibility, intuitive controls, downloadable resources, and no unnecessary accounts for viewing public schedule information.
The result is less time managing logistics, fewer missed details, and more time focused on the team.
Built for people. Proven in practice.

Technical View
BasenGrid Teams is a production-deployed web application developed by Wild Onion Labs to unify scheduling, personalized calendar distribution, operational communications, and family coordination.
Rather than assembling disconnected third-party applications, the project implements a cohesive platform supported by edge infrastructure, standards-based interoperability, controlled backend services, and repeatable deployment practices.
Multi-group, multi-facility calendar rendering with configurable filters, consistent event handling, responsive layouts, and browser print and ICS downloads. Includes business rules for overlapping groups and shared practice sessions.
Dynamically generated iCalendar subscription feeds with persistent, parameterized URLs; group and facility selection; HTTP HEAD support; input validation; and five-minute feed caching. Compatible with standard subscribing calendar clients, subject to provider refresh behavior.
Cloudflare Workers deployment, static asset publishing through Workers Builds, HTTPS delivery, edge-side request handling, and production diagnostics. Designed for low operational overhead and efficient delivery.
SMTP2GO transactional email integration, the Cloudflare Worker email binding for schedule alerts, subscriber management, unsubscribe handling, address validation, and controlled campaign dispatch with delivery-state diagnostics and administrative oversight.
A dedicated carpool interface combining a readable weekly schedule image, a downloadable calendar event file, and a responsive presentation.
Private administrative workflows, subscriber opt-outs, recipient-scoped messaging, delivery-state diagnostics, and separation of public interfaces from administrative operations. Privacy-conscious design avoids unnecessary individual-level marketing analytics.
GitHub-based source control, documented development standards, isolated feature work, staging verification, incremental testing, deployment checks, and release procedures designed to protect unrelated production functionality.
Cloudflare Workers, GitHub and Git, SMTP2GO, Cloudflare Workers Email, iCalendar and RFC 5545, HTTP and HTTPS, browser print-to-PDF, JavaScript, and Web APIs.
