Wild Onion Labs

Privacy

Wild Onion Labs is built around a simple preference: collect less when less will do.

This website

This website does not use advertising technology, marketing trackers, or account sign-ins. It does not intentionally set first-party cookies or run client-side analytics.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Like other web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device/browser information, request timing, and security data.

Beta participation

If you submit the beta form, Wild Onion Labs collects your Google Play email, optional name, requested app, consent timestamp, signup and update timestamps, confirmation status, and a one-way hash of a short-lived confirmation token. The plaintext confirmation token is sent in the confirmation link but is not stored in the signup database.

This information is used to administer the beta you requested and, with the form consent you provide, to contact you occasionally about relevant Wild Onion Labs apps, releases, testing opportunities, and projects. Wild Onion Labs does not sell email addresses or provide them to third-party marketers.

Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information to distinguish people from automated abuse. Cloudflare infrastructure hosts the form endpoint and database and sends the confirmation email.

You may request deletion of beta signup information at privacy@wildonionlabs.com.

Wild Onion Labs apps

App-specific policies describe the data each app uses and how it is stored:

Our general design direction is local-first: keep core app data on the user's device whenever practical and avoid accounts, cloud services, and data collection that are not necessary for the product to work.
